What is the Lorazepam drug used for? Lorazepam drug is an antianxiety agent, and generic form of the brand name drug Ativan. It is also from the family of drugs called Benzodiazepine, which is used in the treatment of anxiety disorders.

First, is the possibility that a harmful allergic reaction may occur. Symptoms of severe allergic reaction include difficulty breathing, swelling of the throat, tongue, lips, or face, and hives.
