BenzaClin (Benzoyl Peroxide) and (Clindamycin Topical) For Acne Treatment

BenzaClin: a cosmetic skin hydrator for acne treatment. A prescription acne product made for topical use only. This medication is an antibiotic used to prevent bacteria from growing on the skin.

Active Ingredient:

BenzaClin gel is made of two active ingredients: Clindamycin antibiotic and Benzoyl peroxide, the antibacterial agent. Benzoyl peroxide has effective antibacterial effects; with a gentle drying effect that makes it easy to wash away excess dirt or oil from the skin. Clindamycin topical on the other hand is antibiotics that help prevent unwanted bacteria from growing on the skin. These two medications in essence formed the powerful acne drug BenzaClin. (This is a prescription strength medication, use only as directed by your doctor.)

Apart from the treatment of (inflammatory acne vulgaris) BenzaClin can be used for treatment of other ailments that are not mentioned here. Ask your doctor what other treatment you could use this drug for.

Warnings:

Avoid direct contact to the mouth, nose and eye when using this medication. Always wash your hands thoroughly before and after each use.

Women who are pregnant or nursing should not use BenzaClin. This medicine is FDA pregnancy category C rated. It is not clinically known whether this medicine will pass through the mother's breast milk onto the child. However, it may be harmful to the unborn baby. Avoid exposure to sunlight as this drug could make your skin very sensitive to sunlight or tanning beds. If you must be under the sun, wear sunscreen and protective clothing. Though this drug is used only on your skin; your body may absorb enough of the medication to cause adverse reactions from other medications. Do not use any harsh skin product that may irritate your skin while using this medication. Bath soup that can make your skin dry should be avoided, so are certain shampoos and hard body lotions, or body cleansers.
